The collective noun for whales is a ‘pod’. Like whales, members of Dair take extraordinarily good care of their young, and teach them necessary life skills. Whales also nurture, bond, play, and co-operate with one another. Much like members of Dair.
Pods provide social connections, and protection for individual members, and the pod as a whole. In their pods, whales learn from each other in ways that are very important to their societies, and their survival.
Dair’s pods are made of groups local to each other who have completed the initial fourteen week DPP. These pods are part of Dair’s national network.
